Rebooking with UNITE for 2011/2012 Academic Year (All cities except London)

From 1 November 2010 until 31 January 2011, a limited number of rooms in Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bristol, Coventry, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Huddersfield, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester, Nottingham, Plymouth,

Reading and Sheffield will be available at a discounted price to UNITE’s 2011/12 normal prices exclusively for existing UNITE customers that wish to rebook for next year.

From 1 November 2010, all customers currently living in one of UNITE’s direct let properties, as listed on www.unite-students.com/rebook, will be given the opportunity to rebook the discounted rooms in those properties before they are offered to other UNITE customers living in a university nominated building. From 15 November 2010, the rebooking discounted rooms will also be offered to all UNITE customers currently living in a UNITE nominated property.

Discounts vary by city, property and room type and full lists of exact savings are provided in the tables on the relevant city pages of www.unite-students.com/rebook. A limited number of rooms are available at the discounted prices and the offer is subject to availability. Once UNITE has sold the discounted rooms, the promotion will end, even if that is before 31 January 2011. There is also no guarantee that customers will be able to stay in their current room.

The discount only applies to the price of the room and what is included in the tenancy agreement. The discount is not available for additional services (such as car parking), that may be purchased separately to the room.

To qualify for the discount (and subject to discounted rooms being available), applications must be made online at www.unite-students.com or via the National Contact Centre on 0800 783 4213. To activate the discount, a promotional code will need to be entered during the online re-booking process. A list of promotional codes is available at www.unite-students.com/rebook. Codes vary by property and room type and the correct code must be entered to receive the discounts quoted in the table below. Subject to the availability of discounted rooms, bookings must be made by 31 January 2011 to qualify for the discount.

Applicants who re-book and who have paid a deposit payment pursuant to their existing tenancy agreement agree that such a deposit will not be re-paid at the end of the existing tenancy agreement and that it will be rolled forward and taken as the deposit under their new tenancy agreement. To the extent any deductions have been made from your existing deposit (with the effect that less than £250 is held), you will be required to top-up the amount of the deposit held to £250.

If a booking is amended, you might lose any discount. Any amendments made after January 31 2011 will not be eligible for this discount offer. The tenancy agreement that you’ll be issued with the rebooking discount must be signed and returned within the timeframe stated in the documents and you might lose any discount if it is not returned within that timescale.

UNITE reserves the right not to accept a booking from a current customer who is in arrears of more than £10.00 or otherwise in breach of their current tenancy agreement.
