About our fees (2009/10 Academic Year)

You’ll need to pay:

  • Your weekly rent
  • £250 refundable deposit
  • £99 instalment charge if you take out the 8 or 10 month payment plan

And that’s it, unless you want the optional extras. Just ask the Property Team for prices.

Included in your rent

Utilities- All utility bills have been taken care of, so you don't have to worry about being lumbered with any electricity bills.

Internet- If your property has U-Want Internet available (http://www.u-want.com/) in most cases you get the 'Lite Service' included in the price of your accommodation and in some cases the 'Super Service'. For more information about the Internet service available in individual properties, please visit the property page or contact the Hospitality Team.

What is an instalment?
Instead of paying your rent all in one go, you can split it up into instalments. If you split your payment up over 8 or 10 months, you will need to pay an instalment plan charge of £99 to cover our admin costs.This is spread over the instalments and paid at the same time as your rent.

Changes to your instalment plan
After you’ve signed your tenancy, should you wish to make any changes to your instalment plan, you will incur a £50 admin fee, payable upfront.

Room Moves
After you’ve signed your tenancy, should you wish to move room (subject to a room actually being available), you will incur a £50 admin fee, payable upfront.

Credit card charge
If you pay by credit card, a surcharge of 1.5% will be added.
