University of London Students’ Union is just five minutes’ walk from the property for Union bars, clubs, societies, shops and services. Plus, UCLU and Birkbeck Students' Union are also close by.
The property is just 15 minutes' journey to Leicester Square for West End theatres and Soho nightlife, and Covent Garden for restaurants, bars, street entertainment, live music and comedy.
King’s Cross, a 15-minute walk away, offers a great choice of bars, entertainment, music venues and nightlife. Pentonville Road, just five minutes’ walk away, offers a choice of bars and pubs including the Big Chill House and Bar Pepito.

Camden Town is just 15 minutes’ journey from the property for London's most popular market with hundreds of shops and stalls selling everything from fashion to antiques to street food. Camden Lock offers fantastic food and drink, with views across Regent’s Canal. You can also get a boat, walk or cycle along Regent’s Canal to Little Venice and Maida Vale.
A number of museums are close by, many of which are free. The British Museum is just a 10-minute walk from the property with free entry to view one of the largest collections of human history and culture. The Wellcome Collection, a unique mix of free exhibitions and events is also close to the property, just opposite Euston station.
Bloomsbury Lanes, an eight-lane bowling venue with large bar, karaoke club and American diner, is a 15-minute walk from the property. Madame Tussaud's wax museum is also just a short bus journey away.

There are a number of gyms nearby, including Fitness First, just off Euston Road, Energybase at Birkbeck University of London, and Bannatyne’s Health Club on Woburn Place. All these gyms, and several more, are located within 15 minutes’ walk of Somerset Court.
Regents Park is less than 20 minutes’ walk and has the largest outdoor sports area in central London, with organised sports for the local community including cricket, footfall, rugby, tennis, netball, running clubs and exercise classes.

King’s Cross St Pancras is just over five minutes’ walk from Somerset Court for six underground lines, trains out of London, and the Eurostar to Paris and mainland Europe.
From King’s Cross St Pancras you can catch direct trains to Russell Square, Covent Garden and Leicester Square on the Piccadilly line. The Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith and City lines provide trains towards Paddington station and west London. 
You can reach Camden Town, Holloway Road, Old Street and Clapham on the Northern line, and the Victoria line has direct trains to Highbury and Islington, Tottenham Hale, Oxford Circus and Victoria station.
Mornington Crescent is less than 10 minutes’ walk from the property for Northern line underground trains to Euston, King's Cross St Pancras, Warren Street, Leicester Square, Embankment, Angel and Camden Town.
A large number of bus routes run close to Somerset Court, including the 168 to Russell Square and Waterloo station, the 253 to Euston, Camden and Holloway Road and the 24-hour 88 service to Oxford Street, Trafalgar Square, Westminster and Clapham Common.
