The area of King’s Cross offers a great choice of bars, entertainment, music venues and nightlife. Pentonville Road, just five minutes’ walk away, offers a choice of bars and pubs including the Big Chill House and Bar Pepito.
Islington’s Upper Street is just 10 minutes’ walk away from Elizabeth Croll House with a great choice of bars and nightlife. Upper Street is also home to an antique market, a range of boutiques and the cinema Screen on the Green.
Covent Garden and Leicester Square are just 15 minutes away on the Piccadilly tube line – perfect for a night out in central London, a visit to the theatre in the West End, or an evening of al fresco dining and street entertainment at Covent Garden.
Elizabeth Croll House is close to many of London’s best-known attractions and museums, including The Canal Museum, Charles Dickens Museum and The British Museum.
The Gagosian Gallery specialises in modern and contemporary art and is just five minutes away. You can reach The British Library (free entry), in less than 15 minutes.
Madame Tussaud's wax museum is 15 minutes from King’s Cross St Pancras on the tube, plus Regent's Park is just a short tube journey or 30-minute walk away for London Zoo, the Open Air Theatre, boating lake, and sports facilities.

There are a number of gyms in the local area, the nearest of which is Anytime Fitness on Pentonville Road, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the property.
Other gyms nearby include Fitness First and the Nuffield Health and Wellbeing Centre, both within 10 minutes’ walk of the property. There are a number of health, dance, yoga and sports clubs locally too.
Regent’s Park is a short tube journey or 30-minute walk from the property, and is home to the largest outdoor sports area in central London. The park is frequented by dozens of sports clubs and teams from the local area, so there’s always something to get involved in.

Travel and Transport
King’s Cross St Pancras station is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Elizabeth Croll House for access to six underground lines, trains out of London, and the Eurostar to Paris and mainland Europe.
From King’s Cross St Pancras you can catch direct trains to Russell Square, Covent Garden and Leicester Square on the Piccadilly line.
The Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith and City lines provide trains towards Paddington station and west London. You can reach Camden Town, Holloway Road, Old Street and Clapham on the Northern line, and the Victoria line has direct trains to Highbury and Islington, Tottenham Hale, Oxford Circus and Victoria station.

Elizabeth Croll House is well served by local shops, banks, supermarkets and amenities. There is a Tesco Express just a couple of minutes’ walk away, and a large Waitrose supermarket around 15 minutes’ walk from the property.
There are several high street banks just around the corner, including Natwest and Lloyds TSB. For changing currency and posting items, there is a bureau de change and a post office on Euston Road.
Other useful amenities include dry cleaners, newsagents and hairdressers, most of which can be found on Pentonville and Euston Road.
