The city’s three universities – the University of Leeds, Leeds Trinity University and Leeds Beckett University – are also easy to get to from our student accommodation in Leeds, meaning all you’ll need to decide each day is whether to shop, study, sightsee or socialise!

Eating Out
Whether you’re hungry for hamburgers or craving calamari, Leeds has a huge variety of cafés, restaurants, bistros and brasseries for you to sink your teeth into, all just a short distance from our student flats. There are nationally popular favourites such as Wagamama, Bella Italia, The Living Room, Loch Fyne and Café Rouge, as well as exclusive-to-Leeds eateries like the magical medieval setting at Hazlewood Castle, and the interactive Japanese cuisine experience at Wasabi Teppan-yaki.
Sporting Spotlights
With Headingley Stadium playing home to the Leeds Rhinos Rugby League Club and the Yorkshire County Cricket Club sports fans will find plenty of action in Leeds. Elland Road stadium is home to Leeds United Football Club, and is just a short trip from our Leeds student accommodation. And if you’ve still got some energy after all that, why not enjoy some track and field at Leeds City AC, one of northern England’s biggest athletics clubs?

When it comes to culture Leeds has got it all. From Roundhay Park – one of the biggest city parks in Europe – to Leeds City Museum – home of the famous ‘Leeds Tiger’ – you’ll find getting to know the nature, art and history of your new home city easy from our student flats.  And with renowned events like the Leeds West Indian Carnival and Leeds Festival and Light Night you’ll always have a choice of ways to enjoy the city’s culture.
Evening Entertainment
Few cities can claim to have a night scene as vibrant as Leeds. Whether you’re looking to party, laugh, drink or dance, there’s plenty on offer. You’ll find a real mix of clientele at the ever-popular Oporto. Or take your pick from six themed bars at the Pryzm club. Excellent drinks and a lively atmosphere can be found across two floors at Smokestack. Or for great comedy and music the Hifi Club is famed for its friendly basement nights.

Getting Around
The great locations of our properties mean that you’ll find everything the city has to offer is in easy reach. There’s a university shuttle bus to take you from campus to the train station. Numerous bus services provide a cheap way of getting to all the popular student areas. And if you’re looking to go a little further, Leeds Bradford International Airport – the largest airport in Yorkshire – is easy to get to from our student accommodation.
Health and Wellbeing
To help you stay on top form we’ve made sure that all our properties offer easy access to the best health facilities in the city. All of the universities offer welfare, financial and career advice to all students – just pop into one of the on-campus advice centres for more information. If there’s an emergency you’ll find you’re only a short distance from Leeds General Infirmary Hospital. And for student-focused healthcare there’s Leeds Student Medical Practice nearby.
All of the amenities you’ll need are just a short walk or bus ride away when you live in Leeds with us. As well as supermarkets like Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons, there’s also a range of smaller food shops, and a NISA supermarket open 7:00am to midnight every day. Various takeaways and high street banks are just a short distance, and with the university shuttle bus running past the library via some of our properties, studying becomes less hassle.
High Street Highlights
If you’re off on a shopping spree why not start at Victoria Quarter, known as the premium shopping centre in the North of England. Here you’ll find top fashion names like: Ted Baker, Vivienne Westwood and Karen Millen to name just a few. Leeds’ latest shopping experience is Trinity and boasts over 120 shops cafés, bars and restaurants. Or for unique fashion and jewellery all under one spectacular domed roof, head over to The Corn Exchange on Call Lane.
