Eating Out
With such a culturally diverse population to feed it’s no wonder that Bristol has such a huge variety of cuisine to enjoy. Well-known favourites like TGI Fridays, Nando's, Giraffe, Yo! Sushi, and the Gourmet Burger Kitchen are all just a short distance from our student accommodation in Bristol. If you fancy something a bit different you’ll find a range of exclusive-to-Bristol eateries in the award-winning St Nicholas Market, surrounded by the beautiful Georgian architecture of Bristol’s Old City.
Sporting Spotlights
Football fans will only be a short distance away from both Bristol City FC in Ashton Gate and Bristol Rovers FC on Gloucester Road. If you prefer to get involved, there are plenty of local swimming pools, gyms, cycle paths, running routes, and exercise classes to keep your blood pumping. You’ll also find our Bristol student accommodation offers easy access to Bristol Rugby Club matches, the Gloucestershire Cricket Club and much more.
Culture Corners
You can’t walk far in Bristol without encountering some of the culture that has shaped this great city. Massive Attack, Portishead, and Tricky famously created the ‘Bristol sound’ here. Theatres like the Bristol Old Vic and the Bristol Hippodrome have a rich entertainment history, and the Arnolfini arts centre is popular with students. Outside there’s the Clifton Downs for picnics, sunbathing or a game of Frisbee, all in view of Brunel’s modern marvel, the Clifton Suspension Bridge.
Evening Entertainment
If you love live music Bristol’s got you covered with The Fleece and the O2 Academy playing host to rising stars and global household names. For late drinks and a party atmosphere there’s the Harbourside where you can take your pick from bars and clubs like Pryzm, Pitcher and Piano, and BSB. Bristol’s oldest pub and leading alternative venue, the Hatchet Inn, often has themed club nights upstairs with cheap drinks, meaning you can rock well into the night.

Around you

Getting Around
You can get to most of Bristol’s popular places easily by road, rail or even water. Our student flats put you right at the heart of the city, so the bus station is nearby, offering access to local and national destinations. Temple Meads train station is also easily accessible from our properties. And if you fancy travelling locally at a more leisurely pace there’s the Bristol Ferry, which is a great way to see the city from the water.
Health and Wellbeing
Both the University of Bristol and UWE offer their students on-site medical care. Appointments can be made on their websites, and our property teams will be happy to help you book. All students are also offered welfare, financial and career advice on campus by the universities. For emergencies the Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI) is close to our properties and has the added benefit of being a teaching hospital with close links with the University of Bristol.
All our properties give you easy access to a choice of amenities including Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose supermarkets, a variety of convenience stores, hairdressers, pharmacies and takeaways. You’ll also find a range of high street banks and a large post office nearby. For home essentials there’s an IKEA store and a Wilkinson just a short bus ride away. And thanks to our properties being near both the city’s universities you’ll have no problem getting to a library.
High Street Highlights
Cabot Circus’ 120 shops will be right on your doorstep when you live in our student accommodation. Here you’ll find flagship stores for Harvey Nichols and House of Fraser as well as the Showcase Cinema Deluxe. A short walk away there’s the bustling boutique beauty of St Nicholas Market.
