Exceptional local produce is at the heart of every dish served, and with world-class seafood caught daily off the rugged shores, and the internationally renowned Aberdeen Angus beef being reared on the rich Scottish pastures, all you’ll need to decide is what to try first.
A stroll along the coastline isn’t the only way to keep fit in Aberdeen. Getting Around
By bus, train or aeroplane, you’ll have the freedom to get around however you want with Aberdeen’s fantastic travel network. The recently developed bus station offers frequent services both locally and to neighbouring cities. The train station is right in the centre of the city, just a short distance from our student flats. And for those who want to explore further, and our international students, there’s easy access to one of the UK’s fastest growing airports, Aberdeen International Airport.

The University of Aberdeen, Robert Gordon University and Aberdeen College all offer welfare, finance and career advice to their students. Simply drop into one of their on-campus advice clinics to find out more. Our centrally located student housing means you are only ever a short walk or bus ride away from a selection of doctors, dentists and pharmacies, including The Links Medical Practice, which offers you a one-stop-shop for any ailments.
You’ll have supermarkets like Morrisons, takeaways, 24-hour newsagents, and grocery shops right on your doorstep when you live with Unite Students. After just a five-minute walk you’ll find yourself in the town centre where all the banks and shops you’d expect from a popular university city can be found.
